Butterfly Valve Comeval UNIWAT VF7U0

The UNIWAT VF7U0 is a concentric butterfly valve of the U / flanged short pattern type, featuring a soft seat and bidirectional sealing. Primarily used for isolation in HVAC systems, water networks, process fluids, compressed air, neutral gases, and auxiliary lubrication circuits. Throttling operation is feasible only under control of disc angle, Kv, and differential pressure.

Materials and Seats

The body is available in EN-JL1040 cast iron, EN-JS1030 ductile iron, WCB steel, or CF8M stainless steel. Discs include ductile iron, nickel plated versions, CF8M, aluminum bronze, and 904L. Seats include NBR, EPDM, Viton, Silicone, Hypalon, with fluoropolymer options available per configuration.

Application Limits

For water networks, the manufacturer recommends a maximum velocity of 3 m/s for PN10 and 4 m/s for PN16. For potable water, TSmax 80 °C is noted. Seat selection should be based on pressure-temperature, fluid compatibility, and potential elastomer swelling.

Handling

Accepts handle, gearbox, bare shaft, or actuator. Gearbox is recommended for larger DN or when operating torque increases due to ΔP or seat material.
