Butterfly Valve Wafer Comeval UNIWAT VF701

The UNIWAT VF701 is a concentric wafer-type butterfly valve with a soft seat dovetail/edge-boot design, offering bidirectional flow isolation. While limited throttling is possible, continuous regulation requires calculation of Kv, opening angle, and differential pressure.

Technical Specifications

  • Design: EN 593, EN 12516, DIN 3840.
  • Face-to-face: EN 558 Series 20 / DIN 3202 K1.
  • Connection: Between flanges EN 1092-1/2 PN10/PN16 and ASME B16.5 Class 150.
  • Pressure: PN16 up to DN300, PN10 for DN350–DN1200, with PN16 option where applicable.
  • Testing: EN 12266-1, seat leakage Rate A.
  • Top flange: ISO 5211 for actuator.

Materials and Seats

Body is ductile iron EN-JS1030. Disc options include EN-JS1030 nickel plated, stainless steel CF8/AISI 304 or CF8M/AISI 316. Seats available in NBR, EPDM, and Silicone; Hypalon also noted in general design. Stem is AISI 410, with NBR O-ring and PTFE bushings.

Applications

Suitable for water networks, HVAC, process water, compressed air, neutral gases, lubrication circuits, and auxiliary industrial lines. For Group 1 liquids, gases, low-pressure steam, or chemical media, check PED category, temperature, seat material, and disc compatibility.

Installation and Maintenance

Valve installs without additional sealing flanges, as the elastomer liner acts as a gasket. Proper centering, diagonal bolt tightening, and clean piping are required before startup. For control operation, a 20°–75° opening range is recommended.
