Triple Offset Butterfly Valve ARI-ZETRIX® 019 ANSI

The ARI-ZETRIX® 019 ANSI is a butt-weld ended process valve with triple offset design and metal sealing. It is intended for permanent welded installation in ANSI pipelines where avoiding flanged connections is preferred due to temperature, pressure, or sealing requirements.

Sealing and Operation

Sealing is achieved with a Stellite® 21 seat and a lamellar sealing ring made of Graphite / SA240Gr.31803. The sealing element's temperature range is -29 to +427 °C. The triple-offset geometry reduces friction between the disc and seat during 90° rotation, beneficial for steam, thermal oils, and hot industrial pipelines.

Pressure Limits

The maximum differential pressure equals the nominal pressure, but the allowable operating pressure decreases with temperature according to ASME B16.34. For SA216WCB Class 150, 19.6 bar is noted up to 38 °C and 5.5 bar at 425 °C. For Class 300, 51.1 bar up to 38 °C and 28.8 bar at 425 °C.

Installation and Actuation

Welding preparation follows ASME B16.25 and DIN EN ISO 9692-1. The manufacturer recommends electric welding and avoiding gas welding due to risks of hardening or defects in the joint zone. Available with gear, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuators.

FAQ

When is it chosen over 016 or 018 ANSI?
The 016 is double flanged, the 018 fully lugged/threaded flanged, while the 019 is butt-weld for welded connection without flanges.

Is it suitable for regulation?
It can be used only after checking Kvs, disc angle, noise, cavitation, and actuator torque.
