  • ARI-Armaturen – Technical profile of a steam, control valve and industrial valve manufacturer

    ARI-Armaturen is a German manufacturer of valves and equipment for steam, condensate, thermal oil, hot water, cooling water, HVAC and industrial process systems. Its product range covers isolation valves, control valves, pressure reducing valves, safety valves, steam traps, strainers, check valves and condensate handling equipment.

    ARI control valves are used for modulating control of temperature, pressure, flow and level. Selection requires Kv calculation, pressure drop, medium, temperature, leakage class, actuator force, fail position and possible checks for cavitation, flashing or noise.

    Steam traps and condensate equipment are part of the steam balance. They must be selected according to condensate load, differential pressure, back pressure, start-up load, air venting and system layout.

    Pressure reducing and safety valves have different functions. A pressure reducing valve controls downstream pressure. A safety valve protects equipment from overpressure and must be sized according to the relief scenario.

    ARI products are relevant for steam specialists, HVAC engineers, process engineers and maintenance departments working with steam, condensate and industrial utilities. Selection must be based on actual operating conditions, not only nominal diameter.
