ARI-ZETRIX® 019 Triple Offset Butterfly Valve

The ARI-ZETRIX® 019 is a butt-weld ended process valve with triple offset and metal sealing. It is selected for integration into piping systems via welding, without flanges, suitable for steam lines, hot fluids, process, or energy applications. The triple offset design allows 90° rotation with minimal friction between the disc and seat.

  • Welding Ends: EN 12627
  • Leakage Test: DIN EN 12266-1, leakage rate A

Sealing and Temperature

Sealing is achieved with a metal seat Stellite® 21 and a lamellar sealing ring made of graphite / 1.4462. The temperature range for the sealing element is -60 to +400 °C. This configuration is suitable for steam, hot water, thermal oils, and process gases, provided material compatibility with the medium is confirmed.

Pressure Limits

The maximum differential pressure equals the nominal pressure. For material 1.0619+N, the pressure-temperature rating decreases with temperature: PN40 version is rated at 40 bar up to 50 °C and 23.8 bar at 400 °C. For PN6–PN25, ratings are up to 25 bar at 50 °C and 14.8 bar at 400 °C.

Installation and Welding

Ends comply with EN 12627, with welding preparation according to EN ISO 9692-1 / DIN 2559-2. Manufacturer recommends electric welding and avoiding oxy-fuel welding due to potential errors from differing pipe/valve thicknesses and materials.

Actuation

Available with gearbox, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuators. Sizing requires DN, Δp, temperature, operation frequency, and fail-open or fail-close requirement.

Difference from ZETRIX 016 / 018

The 016 is double flanged, the 018 is fully lugged / threaded flanged, and the 019 is a butt-weld version for permanent piping connection.
