ARI-ZETRIX® 016 Triple Offset Butterfly Valve

The ARI-ZETRIX® 016 is a double-flanged process valve with triple offset and metal sealing. It serves as an isolation valve in steam lines, thermal circuits, industrial gases, and processes where elastomeric seats are unsuitable due to temperature, pressure, or fire-safe requirements.

Sealing and Temperature

The ZETRIX 016 employs a Stellite® 21 seat and a laminated sealing ring made of graphite / 1.4462. The sealing temperature range is from -60 to +400 °C. Its metal sealing makes it suitable for steam, hot water, thermal oils, and applications with thermal cycles, provided material compatibility is confirmed.

Operating Pressure

The maximum differential pressure equals the nominal pressure of the valve. Allowable bars decrease with temperature according to the pressure-temperature rating; for example, at PN40 and 400 °C, 23.8 bar is noted for 1.0619+N and 27.4 bar for 1.4408.

Certifications and Special Versions

Fire-safe versions are available according to ISO 10497 / API 607, ATEX, SIL, optional blow-out protected stem per API 609, NACE MR0103, and packing per EN ISO 15848-1 / TA-Luft. For critical or toxic media, secondary sealing with O-rings and test port can be requested.

Actuation

The basic manual version uses a self-locking gearbox with closed position adjustment. Electric actuators from Auma or Schiebel, as well as pneumatic or hydraulic actuators, are available on request. Actuator sizing should be based on Δp, temperature, seat torque, and required fail position.
