ARI-ZETRIX® 016 ANSI Triple-Offset Butterfly Valve

The ARI-ZETRIX® 016 ANSI is a triple-offset double-flanged butterfly valve with metal sealing, designed for isolation in process lines with ANSI flanges. The triple offset allows 90° rotation with limited friction between the disc and seat, suitable for steam, thermal cycles, and frequent open/close applications.

Sealing and Temperature

Sealing is achieved with a multi-layer ring Graphite / SA240Gr.31803 and metal seat Stellite® 21. The temperature range is -29 to +427 °C, making the valve suitable for steam, hot water, thermal oils, and industrial gases, subject to material compatibility checks with the medium.

Pressure Limits

The maximum differential pressure equals the nominal pressure, but the allowable operating pressure decreases with temperature according to ASME B16.34. For example, for SA216WCB Class 150, pressure decreases from 19.6 bar at -29 to 38 °C to 5.5 bar at 425 °C, while for Class 300 from 51.1 bar to 28.8 bar.

Actuation

Available with gearbox, electric actuator Auma or Schiebel, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator. Sizing requires Δp, temperature, class, cycle frequency, required fail position, and available air pressure.

Certifications and Options

Includes fire-safe ISO 10497 / API 607, ATEX, SIL, optional NACE, and packing per EN ISO 15848-1 / TA-Luft.

Difference from 018 / 019

The 016 ANSI is double-flanged. The 018 ANSI is fully lugged / threaded flanged. The 019 ANSI has butt-weld ends.
