Flanged Butterfly Valve TTV TRITIUM

The TTV TRITIUM is a triple offset butterfly valve designed for industrial lines with higher pressure and temperature/chemical requirements than conventional concentric valves with elastomeric liners. The triple offset reduces disc-seat friction during opening/closing and allows for metal or special sealing with lower wear compared to concentric butterfly valves.

Technical Specifications

  • Range: DN50–DN1600, larger diameters available on request.
  • Operating Pressure: up to 100 bar, depending on DN, material, and pressure class.
  • Connection: PN10/16/25, ANSI 150/300/600 lbs.
  • Flanges: ISO 7005-1/2, DIN 2501 PN10/16/25/40, ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47 Series A/B, ASME B16.1 Class 125/250.
  • Face-to-face: API 609, ISO 5752, BS 5155.
  • Top Flange: ISO 5211 for actuator.

Sealing and Maintenance

The series features sealing Class VI / ISO 5208 Rate A with a self-sealing mechanism. The shaft offset allows seat replacement, and the disc seat can be replaced without special tools, beneficial for on-site maintenance.

Certifications and Standards

Tests and compliances include ISO 5208, API 598, EN 12266, ANSI/ASME B16.34, EN 593, PED 2014/68/EU, ATEX 2014/34/EU II 2GDc, SIL IEC 61508 and design TA-LUFT / ISO 15848 for fugitive emissions control.

Applications

Suitable for fresh water, seawater, hot water, air, compressed air, cooling, ozone, nitrogen derivatives, weak or hot concentrated acids, chemicals, solvents, hydrocarbons, gases, and high-temperature gases, with final selection based on materials, pressure, temperature, and media compatibility.

FAQ

When is it chosen over a concentric butterfly valve?
For higher pressure, higher temperature, chemical media, or when metal-seated / low-friction operation is required.

What actuators are compatible?
Gear, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators via ISO 5211.
