Neway Triple Offset Butterfly Valve

The Neway triple offset butterfly valve is a metal-seated, quarter-turn valve designed for industrial pipelines where soft-seated butterfly valves are limited by temperature, pressure, or elastomer aging. Specifications include DN50–DN4000, ASME Class 150–2500, with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, duplex stainless steel, and copper, featuring wafer, lug, RF, and BW connections.

Sealing and Design

The triple offset design eliminates continuous friction between the disc and seat. Sealing is achieved with a graphite/metal laminated seal ring or solid metal seal, suitable for bi-directional service. The datasheet specifies zero leakage per API 598 and fire-safe design per API 607.

Construction includes an anti-blowout shaft per API 609 / ASME B31.3, guided shaft, stellited seat, and low-emission packing capability up to 20 ppm using helium sniffing method.

Actuation

Available with gearbox, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators. Actuator selection should be based on DN, pressure class, differential closing pressure, temperature, seat design, and required torque safety factor.

Applications

Typical uses include refineries, petrochemicals, shipbuilding, power plants, steel mills, and water treatment. For throttling, consider Cv/Kv control, cavitation, noise, minimum opening angle, and thermal expansion.
