High-Demand Butterfly Valve Alfa Europe S96

The S96 is a high-performance wafer-type butterfly valve designed for flow isolation in industrial lines requiring lower seat friction and greater durability than conventional concentric butterfly valves with elastomeric liners. The series covers DN50–DN400, with larger sizes available upon request.

Operation

The S96 is available as bare shaft for actuator or with gearbox. Actuator selection depends on DN, differential pressure, seat material, and required torque.

Applications

Suitable for process water, hot liquids, chemical lines compatible with PTFE/RPTFE, air, gases, and auxiliary industrial networks. For steam, high temperature, or frequent throttling, seat, leakage class, ΔP, and actuator torque must be checked.

FAQ

When to choose S96 over a simple wafer?
When high-performance seat design, greater temperature resistance, or lower sealing wear is required.

Is it a control valve?
Not as a primary use. For regulation, check Kv/Cv, noise, cavitation, and operating angle.
