When to choose S48 over standard EPDM/NBR valves?
When the fluid requires a PTFE contact surface or when the chemical resistance of common elastomer liners is insufficient.
Is it suitable for continuous throttling?
Not as a primary use. For throttling, consider Kv, differential pressure, velocity, temperature, and potential wear of the PTFE seat.
