The MEI BVS is a sanitary butterfly valve designed for small diameter applications, providing flow isolation in clean lines for food, beverages, and auxiliary process fluids. The series covers DN25–DN80 with standard welding ends, while flanged ends or special connections are available upon request.
Silicone is suitable for sanitary lines requiring elastic sealing and frequent cleaning. PTFE is considered when product or CIP chemicals pose compatibility issues with elastomer seats.
The BVS is prepared for actuator and features a top flange ISO 5211 F05 across all DN25–DN80 sizes. Indicative operating torques are:
