Flange connection: DIN PN6-10-16-25 - ANSI B 16.5 Cl. 150# - JIS B 2211 5K, 10K
Temperature range: -40 / + 250 °C
Face to face: acc. EN 558.1 series 20
The S64 is a butterfly valve with a lug / double flanged pattern and bonded liner, designed for maritime and industrial flow isolation networks. It covers DN40–DN1200, designed according to EN 593 and face-to-face EN 558-1 Series 20. Connection standards include DIN PN6/10/16/25, ANSI B16.5 Class 150, and JIS B2211 5K/10K.
Available bodies: EN-JS1030 ductile iron, ASTM A216 WCB, SS 1.4408, BS 1400 AB2 aluminium bronze. Discs available in BS 1400 AB2, EN-JS1030, SS 1.4408, or SD 2507. For seawater, aluminium bronze, stainless, or duplex options are considered based on chlorides, temperature, and flow rate.
Seats:
The S64 is used in seawater cooling, ballast, bilge, freshwater, HVAC systems on ships, pumping stations, and auxiliary lines. The lug design is chosen for better mechanical retention compared to wafer. End-of-line duty must be confirmed by the manufacturer based on DN, pressure, and loading direction.
Is it suitable for throttling?
Only for limited throttling. Continuous control requires checking Kv, torque, speed, and liner wear.
What determines selection?
DN, PN, flange, disc material, seat, medium, temperature, differential pressure, and actuation type.
