B-Safety – Technical profile of an emergency shower and eyewash safety equipment manufacturer

B-Safety is a manufacturer of emergency showers, eyewash stations and safety equipment for industrial, laboratory, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and process environments. Its products are used where personnel may be exposed to hazardous chemicals, corrosive liquids, dust, heat or contamination.

The main product areas include:

Selection is not based only on installation location. The engineer must consider the hazardous substance, exposure scenario, ambient temperature, water supply pressure, drainage, freeze protection, corrosion resistance, activation method, visibility and maintenance testing.

For outdoor or low-temperature installations, freeze-protected or heated units may be required. For remote areas, tank showers can provide an independent water supply when a stable water network is not available.

Technical documentation should include:

  • water flow rate,
  • inlet pressure,
  • material of wetted parts,
  • activation method,
  • compliance with applicable emergency shower standards,
  • installation drawing,
  • inspection and test procedure,
  • spare parts and maintenance instructions.
