B-Safety PremiumLine BR 718 020 – Handheld Eyewash Station

The BR 718 020 is a bench-mounted, handheld emergency eyewash unit designed for immediate decontamination at workstations with chemical exposure risk. The assembly features a single spray head and is constructed from PremiumLine stainless steel (AISI 304), suitable for installation at laboratory benches, dosing stations, and chemical work areas where rapid response is required.

Materials and Operation

All wetted parts, handle, and spray head are AISI 304 stainless steel. The flow regulator is POM, and hose fittings are brass (CW617N / CW614N). The handle includes a large activation lever and a non-self-closing valve, ensuring continuous flow during use. The spray head incorporates a plastic spray plate, elastomeric shroud, and sealed dust cover. Integrated flow control maintains 7 l/min within the specified pressure range.

Standards and Network Protection

Compliant with EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014. Includes integrated non-return valve for potable water protection and certified to DIN-DVGW / DVGW NW-0417CL0263. Safety signage per EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3.

Product description

The hand-held eye shower is equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance spray head, which not only meets the requirements of EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014, but also ensure that the water is distributed over a large area. This also takes care of the regions around the eyes and eyes can be positioned in the water jet without problems. The restricted, even and, most important of all, soft water jet has been optimized for rinsing chemicals out of the eye. With the enclosed table mounting accessory, the hand-held eye shower can be mounted on the table. The robust stainless steel-coated hose in 1.5 meter length ensures good usability of the shower. The correct spray height and a standard-compliant spray pattern are achieved by the integrated flow regulator, regardless of the water pressure present. The backflow preventer built into the handle of the shower provides additional protection of the drinking water network.
