B-Safety PremiumLine BR 719 030 – Handheld Eyewash Station with Dual Spray Heads

The BR 719 030 is a wall-mounted handheld emergency eyewash unit equipped with two spray heads. All wetted parts, including the handle, wall bracket, and spray heads, are constructed from stainless steel for corrosion resistance in aggressive environments. The wall bracket positions the handle at a 20° angle towards the operator, enabling immediate access from laboratory benches or chemical handling stations.

Technical Specifications

  • Flow rate: 14 l/min
  • Operating pressure: 2.5–5 bar
  • Water connection: ½” female
  • Dimensions: 260 × 145 mm
  • Flexible hose: 1.5 m
  • Installation height: 680 mm ±200 mm
  • Surface finish: polished stainless steel

Materials and Operation

All fluid-contact components are stainless steel. The handle features a large activation lever and a non-self-closing valve, ensuring continuous flow during rinsing. The dual spray heads provide wide water dispersion for simultaneous rinsing of both eyes and surrounding facial area. Integrated flow regulator limits output to 14 l/min and maintains spray pattern within 2.5–5 bar pressure range.

Standards and Network Protection

Compliant with EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014. Includes integrated non-return valve for potable water network protection and certified to DIN-DVGW NW-0417CL0263. Eyewash signage per EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3.

Applications

Suitable for clean water supply in chemical laboratories, QC benches, sampling stations, water treatment units, paint shops, CIP areas, and maintenance locations with risk of eye exposure to acids, alkalis, cleaning agents, or particulates.

Variant Selection: Wall-Mounted vs. Deck-Mounted

The BR 719 030 is selected where fixed wall mounting and unobstructed bench space are required. For installation on worktops or laboratory islands, a deck-mounted variant is available.

Product description

The hand-held eye shower is equipped with two B-SAFETY high-performance spray heads, which not only meet the requirements of EN 15154-2:2006 and ANSI Z358.1-2014, but also ensure that the water is distributed over a large area. This also takes care of the regions around the eyes and eyes can be positioned in the water jet without problems. The restricted, even and, most important of all, soft water jet has been optimized for rinsing chemicals out of the eye.

With the included sturdy stainless steel wall bracket, the hand-held eye shower can be mounted on the wall with an angle tilted 20° towards the user. The robust stainless steel-coated hose in 1.5 meter length ensures good usability of the shower. The correct spray height and a standard-compliant spray pattern are achieved by the integrated flow regulator, regardless of the water pressure present. The backflow preventer built into the handle of the shower provides additional protection of the drinking water network.
