Frostprotected self-draining/safety shower station with cage, underfloor actuation - PremiumLine - BR 886 395 | B-Safety
B-Safety BR 886 395 PremiumLine
Frost-resistant, self-draining emergency safety shower and eyewash station with protective cage and below-ground actuation. Designed for outdoor or cold industrial environments where water must not remain in exposed pipework post-operation.
Technical Data
- Construction: Stainless steel, polished finish
- Overall height: 2330 mm
- Arm projection: 625 mm
- Protective cage: 960 x 850 x 900 mm
- Minimum flow pressure: 1.5 bar
- Operating pressure: 1.5–3 bar
- Body shower flow: 50 l/min
- Eyewash flow: 14 l/min
- Water inlet: ¾” male
Operation and Drainage
Frost protection is achieved via a below-ground stainless steel ball valve housed in a stainless enclosure. Activation is by a 1000 mm pull rod; the system automatically drains to a depth of 1000 mm after use, preventing water retention in exposed lines.
Body shower is actuated by a 700 mm stainless pull rod and ¾” ball valve. The spray head is stainless, self-draining, with integrated flow control at 50 l/min for 1.5–3 bar dynamic pressure.
Eyewash and Cage
PremiumLine eyewash features a stainless basin Ø275 mm, 1¼” male outlet, and 970 mm mounting height. Spray heads include plastic dispersion plates, elastomeric guards, and hinged dust covers. Activation platform is galvanized, 800 x 800 mm, with chain and angular transmission.
Standards and Versions
Compliant with EN 15154-1:2006, EN 15154-2:2006, EN 15154-5:2019, and ANSI Z358.1-2014. Referenced DIN-DVGW/DVGW and GOST-R. Available in 50, 75, and 110 l/min for hazard classes I, II, III per EN 15154-5:2019.
Maintenance
Routine checks: flow rate, dynamic pressure, full drainage, below-ground valve tightness, platform/chain movement, spray head cleanliness, and unobstructed basin drainage.
Applications and Media
- Typical use: chemical plants, refineries, outdoor process areas, cold storage, and hazardous material handling zones
- Suitable media: potable water, demineralized water (verify material compatibility for other media)
- Operational temperature: suitable for sub-zero ambient conditions with proper installation
Variants and Options
- Flow rates: 50, 75, 110 l/min (hazard class dependent)
- Actuation: manual pull rod, platform with chain transmission
- Sealing: stainless steel ball valve, elastomeric spray head seals
FAQ
- Q: Is the system suitable for continuous sub-zero operation?
