Ghidini 3030 3-Way Ball Valve 4G, T-Port

The 3030 is a stainless steel three-way ball valve with a T-port ball and 4-seat configuration. Designed for distribution, selection, or interconnection of three process lines, depending on the ball’s flow plan. Not intended for proportional flow control applications.

Construction

  • Body, ball, and stem: AISI 304L / 1.4307 or AISI 316L / 1.4404.
  • Ball seats: Modified Virgin PTFE.
  • Stem sealing: PTFE with FKM O-ring.
  • External finish: polished.
  • Standard temperature range: -20°C to +170°C.

Connections and Bores

3030 series is available in full bore and reduced bore variants. ISO 228 F/F/F full bore: 1/4” to 4”; reduced bore: 1/2” to 2 1/2” (AISI 316L). Other connections: NPT, DIN 11851, SMS, clamp, Garolla, Victaulic, butt-weld, and flanged ends per code.

Pressure and Automation

ISO 228 full bore: pressure classes PN100 (small sizes), PN64, PN40, PN16 (4”). Top flange ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 for pneumatic/electric actuator mounting. Full bore operating torques up to 130 Nm, size-dependent.

Seat Options

On request, seats available in:

  • PTFE with glass: -20°C to +170°C
  • PTFE with carbon: -20°C to +180°C
  • PTFE with stainless filler: -20°C to +200°C
  • UHMW polyethylene: -20°C to +80°C

Applications

Used in skids, manifolds, CIP auxiliary lines, process water, clean chemical solutions, and flow selection/distribution in production networks. For food or hazardous areas, options include M.O.C.A. CE 1935/2004 and antistatic ATEX II 2G / II 2D versions.

When is T-port selected over L-port?
When more hydraulic positions are required than simple diversion of a common line.

What must be checked before automation?
Actual T-ball position, rotation direction, limit switches, and differential pressure during switching.
