Ghidini 3130 3-Way Ball Valve 4G, L-Port

Type 3130 is a stainless steel three-way ball valve with L-port configuration and 4 seals construction. Designed for automated flow diversion from a common line to one of two branches; not intended for mixing or proportional flow control. The series features an ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 top flange for actuator mounting.

Construction and Materials

  • Body, ball, and stem: AISI 304L / 1.4307 or AISI 316L / 1.4404
  • Ball seats: Modified Virgin PTFE
  • Stem sealing: PTFE with FKM O-ring
  • Flow: full bore
  • Standard temperature range: -20°C to +170°C

Connections and Pressure Ratings

Available with internal threads ISO 228 F/F/F and NPT F/F/F, as well as sanitary DIN 11851 connections. Nominal pressure classes by size: up to PN100 (small), PN64 (medium), PN40 (large), PN16 (4”)

Seat Options

  • PTFE with glass: -20°C to +170°C
  • PTFE with carbon: -20°C to +180°C
  • PTFE with stainless filler: -20°C to +200°C
  • UHMW polyethylene: -20°C to +80°C

Automation

ISO 5211 flange supports pneumatic or electric actuators. Sizing torque depends on valve size, differential pressure, seat material, and switching frequency. For automated skids, verify L-port orientation before limit switch wiring.

Applications

Suitable for process water, CIP auxiliary circuits, chemicals compatible with PTFE/FKM, food and beverage with M.O.C.A. CE 1935/2004 documentation, and ATEX zones requiring antistatic design.

Is this a control valve?
No. Intended for isolation and flow diversion only.

When to select 316L?
For more corrosive media or when full stainless wetted compatibility is required.
