Ghidini 3730 3-Way Ball Valve 4G, L-Port, 3 Seats

The 3730 is a stainless steel three-way ball valve with an L-port bore, 3-seat configuration, and an upper mounting flange ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 for actuator installation. Designed for flow diversion between two lines; not intended for mixing or proportional flow control.

Construction

  • Materials: AISI 304L / 1.4307 or AISI 316L / 1.4404.
  • Flow: full bore.
  • Ball seats: Modified Virgin PTFE.
  • End gaskets: NBR.
  • Stem sealing: PTFE and FKM O-ring.
  • External finish: polished.

Connections and Pressure Ratings

Available in 2 1/2”–4” or DN65–DN100 sizes, depending on connection type. Options include ISO 228 F/F/F, DIN 11851 female/male, clamp, Garolla, Victaulic, butt-weld, and flanged ends. Standard pressure classes: PN16 up to DN80 / 3”, PN10 at DN100 / 4”, subject to code confirmation.

Temperature and Seat Options

Standard version operates from -20°C to +170°C. Alternative seats: glass-filled PTFE to +170°C, graphite-filled PTFE to +180°C, PTFE with stainless to +200°C, UHMW polyethylene to +80°C.

Automation

3730 is specified for pneumatic or electric actuator mounting. Sizing torque must consider valve size, differential pressure, seat material, and switching frequency. Reference tables indicate typical values of 60–130 Nm.

Applications

Used in manifolds, process skids, tank selection lines, CIP auxiliary circuits, process water, and clean chemical solutions compatible with 316L / PTFE / FKM / NBR. On request: antistatic ATEX version and M.O.C.A. CE 1935/2004 compliance.

Difference from 3701?
3730 includes ISO 5211 actuator flange.

Is it suitable for throttling?
No. This is an on/off diverter valve with defined ball positions.
