ARI TEMPTROL 773 LCG – Thermostatic 3-Way Valve with Threaded Connections
The ARI TEMPTROL 773 LCG is a self-acting three-way mixing or diverting valve with BSP threaded connections and a CC499K body. It operates with a thermal controller, sensor, and capillary tube, requiring no electrical power or pneumatic air. The LCG version lacks a pressure balancing bellows and should be selected based on available differential pressure.

Mixing and Diverting Operation
In mixing mode, inlets are A and B, and outlet is AB. The hotter medium should enter from B. In diverting mode, the inlet is AB, and outlets are A and B. With temperature increase at the sensor, the valve restricts inlet B in mixing or outlet B in diverting.
Sealing and Internal Materials
Construction includes X20Cr13+QT seat ring, 1.4571 stem, EPDM O-rings, PTFE guide, and Centellen gasket. These materials are mainly suitable for heating/cooling water and non-aggressive thermal circuits; compatibility check is required for steam, chemicals, or special additives.
Typical Applications
Used in small hot/cold water mixing circuits, heat exchanger bypass, return temperature stabilization, HVAC, thermal skids, and local control without PLC. For proper adjustment, pressures of the two partial flows should be similar, and flow direction should follow body markings.
Installation
A filter is recommended before the valve, with shut-off valves before/after for maintenance and a thermometer near the sensor. The capillary tube should not bend sharply or be mechanically stressed.
