The Clorius H2FR is a flanged two-way control valve with a double-seated design, featuring a cast steel GP240GH / GS-C25 body and PN40 rating. It is reverse acting / normally closed: it remains closed by spring force without an actuator and opens when force is applied to the stem. With a thermostat or actuator, it functions as a cooling valve, opening upon temperature increase.
DN20: Kvs 5 m³/h, 6.5 mm, max ΔpL 8.3 bar.
DN25: Kvs 7.5 m³/h, 7 mm, max ΔpL 8 bar.
DN32: Kvs 12.5 m³/h, 8 mm, max ΔpL 7 bar.
DN40: Kvs 20 m³/h, 9 mm, max ΔpL 6.6 bar.
DN50: Kvs 30 m³/h, 10 mm, max ΔpL 5.8 bar.
DN65: Kvs 50 m³/h, 11 mm, max ΔpL 10 bar.
DN80: Kvs 80 m³/h, 13 mm, max ΔpL 6.7 bar.
Used in industrial cooling water circuits, heat exchanger cooling, oil cooling, process lines, and marine cooling loops. Selection is based on Kvs, available differential pressure, actuator force, medium temperature, and acceptable double-seated leakage.
The valve can be installed with a vertical or horizontal stem. Up to 170°C, the thermostat or actuator can be mounted above or below the valve. Above 170°C, a cooling unit for the thermostat or a high-temperature adapter for the electric actuator is required.
