The Clorius H2F DN100–DN150 is a flanged, double-seated control valve with a cast steel GP240GH / GS-C25 body. It is designed for regulating flow in high-pressure hot water, steam, and thermal oil systems, applicable in district heating, central heating systems, industrial processes, and marine installations.
The H2F features a double-seated design to reduce hydraulic forces on the shaft in larger diameters. The flow characteristic is nearly quadratic, with a control capability of Kvs/Kvr >25. Seat leakage is ≤0.5% of Kvs according to VDI/VDE 2174, thus not substituting a shut-off valve when tight isolation is required.
Without an actuator, the valve remains open via a spring. It closes with pressure on the shaft. In combination with thermostats, pneumatic or electric actuators, it can close upon temperature increase. For cooling circuits, a reverse acting electric actuator or reverse acting setup is used.
The valve can be installed with a vertical or horizontal shaft. Up to 170°C, the thermostat or actuator can be mounted above or below the valve. Above 170°C, a cooling unit for the thermostat or a high-temperature adaptor for the electric actuator is required.
