The Clorius G2F is a flanged, double-seated control valve made from spheroidal graphite iron EN-GJS-400-15, rated at PN25. It is designed for flow regulation in hot water, steam, and thermal oil systems, applicable in industrial processes, district heating, central heating systems, and marine installations.
The G2F is double-seated, selected when system pressure requires greater closing force than a single-seated valve with the available actuator can provide. The flow characteristic is quadratic, maintained until flow drops below approximately 4% of full flow. Seat leakage is ≤0.5% of Kvs as per VDI/VDE 2174, thus not suitable as a tight shut-off valve.
Without an actuator, the valve remains open via a spring. It closes with pressure on the shaft. Compatible with Clorius thermostats, differential pressure controllers, pneumatic or electric actuators. In temperature rise, the typical setup closes the valve; for cooling, a reverse-acting actuator is required.
Install with vertical or horizontal shaft. Up to 170°C, the thermostat or actuator can be mounted above or below the valve. Above 170°C, a cooling unit or high-temperature adapter is required, depending on actuator type.
