The Clorius G2F is a flanged, double-seated control valve made from spheroidal graphite iron EN-GJS-400-15, rated at PN16. It is designed for flow regulation in high-pressure hot water, steam, and thermal oil systems, applicable in district heating, central heating systems, industrial processes, and marine installations.
The G2F features a double-seated design, reducing hydraulic forces on the actuator for larger DN sizes, but allowing for higher permissible leakage compared to single-seated valves. Seat leakage is ≤0.5% of Kvs according to VDI/VDE 2174, thus not suitable for tight shut-off applications.
Without an actuator, the valve remains open via a spring. It closes with pressure on the shaft. In conjunction with thermostats, pneumatic or electric actuators, the valve closes upon temperature increase. For cooling circuits, a reverse-acting electric actuator or reverse-acting setup is used.
Can be installed with vertical or horizontal shaft. Up to 170°C, the thermostat or actuator can be mounted above or below the valve. Above 170°C, a cooling unit or high-temperature adapter is required, depending on actuator type.
