Clorius L1SBR – Reverse Acting 2-Way Control Valve DN15–DN32

The Clorius L1SBR is a two-way, balanced, single-seat control valve with a gun metal RG5 body, PN16, and threaded connections. It is reverse acting: it remains closed by spring force without an actuator and opens with shaft pressure. With a self-acting Clorius thermostat, the valve opens as temperature increases, making it primarily used in cooling circuits.

Applications

The L1SBR is mainly intended for regulating cooling water and lubricating fluids in industrial installations, processes, and marine systems. It is selected when available differential pressure requires a balanced design, but double-seat leakage is unacceptable. Installation

The valve can be installed with a vertical or horizontal axis. Up to 170°C, the thermostat or electric actuator can be mounted above or below the valve. Above 170°C, a cooling unit for the thermostat or a high-temperature adapter for the electric actuator is required.
