3-Way Ball Valve 4G Ghidini 350101, L-Port Diverting

The 350101 is a stainless steel 3-way ball valve with L-port configuration, designed for flow diversion between two paths. Not intended for mixing or proportional control. The valve is full bore, features internal threads ISO 228 F/F/F, manual stainless steel lever, and body in AISI 316L / 1.4404.

Pressure and Temperature Ratings

Standard version operates from -20°C to +170°C. Pressure class depends on size: PN40 up to 1”, PN25 from 1 1/4” to 2 1/2”, PN16 for 3”–4”. Selection must consider differential pressure during switching, temperature, PTFE/FKM compatibility, and allowable flow velocity.

Seat Options

• PTFE with glass: -20°C to +170°C
• PTFE with graphite: -20°C to +180°C
• PTFE with stainless filler: -20°C to +200°C
• UHMW polyethylene: -20°C to +80°C

Applications

Used in process utility networks, feed/return selection, skids, manifolds, process water, air, and clean chemical solutions compatible with AISI 316L, PTFE, FKM. L-port is suitable where clear hydraulic selection of a single outlet is required.

When to select full bore over reduced bore?
When pressure drop must be minimized or for CIP/flush cleaning of the line.

Is it suitable for throttling?
No. Operation is on/off flow diversion with defined ball positions.
