3-Way Ball Valve 4G Ghidini 343001, L-Port Vertical Diverting

The 343001 is a three-way ball valve, vertical diverting type, with an L-port bore and ISO 228 F/F/F threaded connections. This configuration is intended for flow selection between a main line and a vertical branch, not for mixing or proportional flow control. Available in 1/4”–2” sizes, full bore, with body material AISI 316L / 1.4404.

Construction and Sealing

  • Body, ball, ends, and stem: AISI 316L
  • Ball seats: Modified Virgin PTFE, 2-seat design
  • Stem sealing: PTFE and O-ring FKM
  • External finish: polished
  • Standard temperature range: -20°C to +170°C

Pressure Ratings and Automation

Nominal pressure rating is PN40 for 1/4” to 1” and PN25 for 1 1/4” to 2”. Top mounting pad ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 allows direct mounting of pneumatic or electric actuators. Required operating torque (see dimension table) ranges from 5 to 40 Nm depending on size and actuator flange.

Seat Material Options

  • PTFE with glass: -20°C to +170°C
  • PTFE with carbon: -20°C to +180°C
  • PTFE with stainless filler: -20°C to +200°C
  • UHMW polyethylene: -20°C to +80°C

Applications

Suitable for skids, manifolds, feed or return line selection, auxiliary process water circuits, air, or clean chemical solutions compatible with AISI 316L, PTFE, and FKM. The vertical outlet reduces the need for additional fittings when the third branch must be installed perpendicular to the main line.
