Ghidini 3101 3-Way Ball Valve, 4G, L-Port

The 3101 is a stainless steel three-way ball valve with L-port configuration, designed for flow diversion from a common line to one of two branches. Construction features a 4-seal design, manual stainless steel lever, and full bore for welded and Class flange versions.

Materials and Sealing

• Body / ball / stem: AISI 304L / 1.4307 or AISI 316L / 1.4404, depending on variant.
• Primary seats: Modified Virgin PTFE.
• Stem sealing: PTFE and FKM O-ring.
• Standard temperature range: -20°C to +170°C.

Connection Variants

• Butt-weld ends to DIN 11850, ISO 1127, or BS-OD / ASTM A-270, sizes DN10–DN100.
• Rotating flanges to UNI EN 1092-1, DN10–DN125, full or reduced bore.
• Flanges EN 1759-1 Class 150, 1/2” to 4”.
• Flanges EN 1759-1 Class 300, 1/2” to 4”, AISI 316L only.

Seat Options

• PTFE with glass: -20°C to +170°C
• PTFE with carbon: -20°C to +180°C
• PTFE with stainless filler: -20°C to +200°C
• UHMW polyethylene: -20°C to +80°C

Applications

Used in process water lines, clean fluids, food/beverage (with documentation), CIP auxiliary circuits, low to medium temperature thermal fluids, and skids requiring flow path selection. Heating jacket version available for viscous or solidifying media.

On request: antistatic execution ATEX II 2G Ex h IIC T4 Gb / II 2D Ex h IIIC T135°C Db and compliance with M.O.C.A. CE 1935/2004.

FAQ

Is this a control valve?
No. It is intended for isolation and flow diversion, not for proportional flow control.

When to select AISI 316L?
For more corrosive environments, clean media networks, or where increased chemical compatibility of wetted parts is required.
