Valpres 725000 Wafer Ball Valve
The Valpres 725000 is a stainless steel wafer-pattern ball valve in ASTM A351 CF8M, intended for installation between PN10, PN16 and ANSI 150 flanges. Smaller sizes are also suitable for PN40 service, subject to the pressure rating by DN.

Hydraulic Characteristics

Valve Selection Notes
- Select DN based on required Kv, allowable pressure drop and pipe velocity.
- For DN65 to DN100, account for the lower PN20 pressure rating.
- Use the wafer body where compact face-to-face length is required between flanges.
- The V-ball version is not available in DN100.
Actuation and Variants
The standard configuration is lever operated. For on-off automation, pneumatic or electric actuation should be specified only after confirming valve torque, duty cycle, fail position, actuator sizing factor and any ATEX or SIL requirement.
Maintenance and Leakage Considerations
PTFE seats provide tight shut-off for compatible clean services. FKM O-rings require verification for solvents, steam exposure and high-temperature cycling. In abrasive or crystallising fluids, seat wear and operating torque should be reviewed during valve selection.

Can it be used on ANSI flanges?
Yes, the valve is specified for ANSI 150 installation in addition to PN10 and PN16 flange systems.
Is it suitable for throttling?
It is primarily an isolation ball valve. Throttling duties should be evaluated separately, especially for seat wear, cavitation risk and control range.
What limits the maximum pressure?
The allowable pressure depends on DN: PN40 up to DN50 and PN20 from DN65 to DN100.
