Ghidini 5030 4G 2-way ball valve

The Ghidini 5030 is a three-piece, full-bore, 2-way ball valve with an ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 actuator mounting flange. It is used for automated on/off isolation in stainless-steel process piping where the valve is operated by a pneumatic or electric actuator.

Typical applications

The valve is suitable for process water, compressed air, inert gases, clean liquids and chemical media compatible with 316L stainless steel and PTFE seats. It is commonly applied in utility skids, chemical transfer lines, clean process piping, automated isolation manifolds and package equipment.

The three-piece construction allows the centre body section to be accessed for seat and seal maintenance without replacing the complete valve assembly, provided the piping layout allows safe removal and depressurisation.

• Intended service: full open / full closed isolation, not throttling control
• Selection checks: medium compatibility, pressure class, temperature, connection standard and actuator torque margin

Difference from Ghidini 5001

The Ghidini 5001 is a manual lever-operated three-piece ball valve. The Ghidini 5030 is configured with an ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 mounting pad for pneumatic or electric actuation. The 5030 is therefore selected when remote operation, interlocking, PLC control or automated shutdown logic is required.

FAQ

Is the Ghidini 5030 a control valve?
No. It is intended for isolation service with the ball fully open or fully closed. For modulating flow control, a characterized control valve or an appropriate control ball valve should be specified.
