2-Way Ball Valve 4G Ghidini 1901

Type 1901 is a manually operated 2-way ball valve for higher pressure service in stainless-steel process piping. It has ISO 228-1 female/female threaded ends, full-bore flow passage and an AISI 316L / 1.4404 body.

Application Range

The 1901 is selected where the operating pressure exceeds the typical PN 40 / PN 64 limits of smaller industrial threaded ball valves. Typical duties include high-pressure water, hydraulic auxiliary circuits, inert gases and chemical services compatible with AISI 316L and PTFE.

Suitable Media and Operating Conditions

• Water and treated water at elevated pressure
• Compressed inert gases, subject to pressure and temperature verification
• Hydraulic auxiliary circuits where ball-valve isolation is acceptable
• Compatible chemical fluids, after checking corrosion resistance of 316L and seat compatibility

The valve is intended for shut-off service. It should not be used as a throttling valve where continuous partial opening, seat erosion or unstable flow conditions are expected.

Sealing Options

• Modified virgin PTFE: -20°C to +170°C, standard seat material for general compatible fluids
• Glass-filled PTFE: -20°C to +170°C, used where higher seat stiffness is required
• Stainless-filled PTFE: -20°C to +200°C, used for higher temperature service within material limits

Available on request with antistatic device for ATEX II 2G Ex h IIC T4 Gb / II 2D Ex h IIIC T135°C Db. M.O.C.A. compliance to CE 1935/2004 is also available on request for applicable food-contact installations.

Actuation

The standard configuration is manual lever operation. If remote operation is required, the availability of an actuator-ready variant or suitable mounting interface should be confirmed before procurement.
