The Clorius M2F DN100–DN150 is a flanged, double-seated control valve with an EN-GJS-400-15 body and PN16 rating. It is designed for flow regulation in hot water, steam, and thermal oil applications, suitable for district heating, industrial processes, and marine installations.
The M2F features a double-seated design, reducing hydraulic force on the stem compared to large single-seated valves. Seat leakage is ≤0.5% of Kvs according to VDI/VDE 2174, a critical factor for applications requiring tight shut-off. The flow characteristic is almost quadratic, with a control ratio of Kvs/Kvr >25.
Without an actuator, the valve remains open via a spring. It closes with pressure on the stem. Compatible with thermostats, pneumatic, or electric actuators; the valve closes with temperature increase. For cooling circuits, a reverse acting electric actuator or reverse acting setup is required.
Installation is permissible with vertical or horizontal stem. Up to 170°C, the thermostat or actuator can be mounted above or below the valve. Above 170°C, a cooling unit for the thermostat or a high-temperature adaptor for the electric actuator is necessary.
