The Clorius H1FB is a flanged, single-seated control valve with a cast steel GP240GH / GS-C25 body and a nominal pressure rating of PN40. It features a pressure-balanced design with a stainless steel bellows on the stem to reduce actuator closing force requirements in high differential pressure applications.
Without an actuator, the valve remains open via a spring and balancing mechanism. It closes with force applied to the stem. In conjunction with Clorius thermostats, the valve closes as temperature increases. For cooling circuits, a reverse acting electric actuator or reverse acting self-operated control setup is used.
Suitable for hot water, steam, and thermal oil in heat exchangers, district heating, thermal skids, industrial processes, and marine installations. Selected when low single-seat leakage is required, but pressure and DN necessitate balancing for controlled closure.
Installation can be vertical or horizontal. Up to 170°C, the thermostat or actuator can be mounted above or below the valve. Above 170°C, a cooling unit for the thermostat or a high-temperature adaptor for the electric actuator is required.
