The Clorius L2FR is a flanged two-way control valve made from gun metal, designed for large flow cooling applications. It is classified as reverse acting, with sizes ranging from DN65 to DN150, featuring a flange connection and primarily PN10, with a DN80 PN16 version available.
The reverse acting function is selected when an increase in temperature should open the valve and increase the flow of the cooling medium. It can be combined with a Clorius thermostat or an electric actuator, depending on the control signal and available shaft force.
The L2F DN65–DN150 platform uses two balanced seats, offers a nearly linear flow characteristic, leakage ≤0.5% of Kvs, and actuator connection G1B. Key materials include CuSn5Zn5Pb5-CRG for body/seats/cone, shaft 1.4436, O-ring NBR 90, and gasket Reinz-AFM34.
