Safety Showers Arms
This category covers B-Safety body emergency shower arms for fixed wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted installation, including exposed-pipe, concealed-wall, and adjustable-length versions in the ClassicLine and PremiumLine series. The main configurations correspond to BR 071, BR 072, BR 073, and BR 075. ClassicLine versions are available in stainless steel / chemically resistant plastic with green chemically resistant coating, while PremiumLine versions are manufactured in polished stainless steel.
Selection depends on hazard location, available pipe routing, installation height, and access requirements for inspection and maintenance. Wall-mounted exposed-pipe versions have a 525 mm projection with 3/4" female inlet connection. Wall-mounted concealed versions have a 470 mm projection with 3/4" male inlet connection. For ceiling installation, fixed exposed versions provide 600 mm clear drop length and are intended for installation height 2800 mm ±100 mm. Adjustable ceiling versions provide headroom adjustment from 360 to 1610 mm to suit varying ceiling elevations or suspended ceiling layouts.
Common operating data include dynamic inlet pressure 1.5 to 3 bar and nominal flow rate 50 l/min, with alternative configurations available at 75 or 110 l/min. Units incorporate an automatic flow regulator to maintain a stable spray pattern within the specified pressure range. The shower head is self-draining, corrosion-resistant, and configured for uniform, low-impact rinsing of hazardous substances from the body surface while limiting scale deposition and reducing maintenance frequency.
Installation should ensure self-drainage between the valve and shower head, avoidance of stagnant water, adequate network flow capacity, and periodic functional testing. Referenced compliance includes EN 15154-2, EN 15154-5, ANSI Z358.1, DIN 1988, EN 1717, and safety marking in accordance with EN ISO 7010 / ASR A1.3.
