B-Safety BR 075 085 / V ClassicLine

Adjustable ceiling-mounted emergency body shower arm for recessed installation. Water supply connection is ¾" male. The “V” version provides variable headroom adjustment from 305 to 1555 mm; user flow adjustment is not available. The lower edge of the shower head must be installed at 2200 mm ±100 mm from finished floor level.

Technical Data

  • Type: Ceiling-mounted, recessed emergency body shower arm
  • Water connection: ¾" male thread
  • Operating pressure (dynamic): 1.5–3 bar
  • Nominal flow rate: 50 l/min
  • Available variants: 75 l/min / 20 GPM and 110 l/min
  • Headroom: 305–1555 mm (adjustable)
  • Installation height: variable, based on final head position

Construction and Materials

Ceiling arm constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel with green chemically resistant coating. Shower head is black POM, self-draining, with integrated flow regulator. Cover rosette is polyamide, providing ceiling penetration protection.

Hydraulic Operation

Automatic flow regulator maintains spray pattern within 1.5–3 bar dynamic pressure. The section between valve and head must be self-draining for compliance with DIN EN 15154-1:2006, minimizing stagnant water, scaling, and maintenance points at the ceiling interface.

Flow Rate Variants

  • BR 075 085 / V: 50 l/min, hazard class I
  • BR 075 085 / V75L: 75 l/min / 20 GPM, hazard class II
  • BR 075 085 / V110L: 110 l/min, hazard class III

Standards and Accessories

Complies with DIN EN 15154-1:2006, DIN EN 15154-5:2019, ANSI Z358.1-2014, DIN 1988, DIN EN 1717, and DIN-DVGW / DVGW NW-0417CL0263. Optional: IP65 flow switch, EX zone 1 & 2 version, 230 V / 50 Hz alarm module.

Applications and Use Cases

  • Industrial process areas requiring emergency body showers
  • Chemical, pharmaceutical, and laboratory environments
  • Suitable for potable and process water
  • Designed for integration into safety systems with automated monitoring

Product description

The emergency shower arm is equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only meets the specifications of ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154, but is also self-draining, largely free of calcification and maintenance, and very robust and corrosion-resistant. The limited, uniform and above all soft water jet is optimized for rinsing off chemicals on the skin.

The integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a standard-compliant spray pattern regardless of the water pressure on site. With the enclosed safety sign according to EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3, the B-SAFETY emergency shower is marked and visibility is improved. The viewing distance is 15 meters.

Mounting-Instructions:

For an installation in accordance with DIN EN 15154-1:2006 it must be ensured, that the safety shower installation is self-draining between valve and shower head.
