B-Safety BR 073 085 / V ClassicLine

Adjustable ceiling-mounted emergency body shower arm with exposed piping and ¾" female water supply connection. The “V” version provides adaptable headroom (360–1610 mm) and variable installation height, with the lower edge of the shower head positioned at 2200 mm ±100 mm from finished floor level.

Technical Data

  • Operating dynamic pressure: 1.5–3 bar
  • Nominal flow rate: 50 l/min
  • Available variants: 75 l/min / 20 GPM and 110 l/min
  • Connection: ¾" female
  • Materials: stainless steel (AISI 304) and POM
  • Color: green / black

Construction and Operation

Ceiling flange features 4 mounting holes, constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel with chemically resistant green coating. The ¾" arm is also AISI 304 with identical coating. The shower head is POM, self-draining, with integrated flow regulator.

Arm is designed for connection to a suitable activation valve within the emergency shower network. For DIN EN 15154-1:2006 compliance, the section between valve and head must be drained after use or testing.

Flow Rate Variants

  • BR 073 085 / V: 50 l/min, hazard class I
  • BR 073 085 / V75L: 75 l/min / 20 GPM, hazard class II
  • BR 073 085 / V110L: 110 l/min, hazard class III

Flow rate selection should be based on chemical hazard assessment, available dynamic pressure, pressure drop to ceiling, and head position relative to exposure zone.

Standards and Accessories

Complies with DIN EN 15154-1:2006, DIN EN 15154-5:2019, ANSI Z358.1-2014, DIN 1988, DIN EN 1717, and DIN-DVGW. Certification numbers (DVGW NW-0417CL0263 or NW-0416CL0425) must be verified at procurement.

Available accessories: IP65 flow switch, EX zone 1 & 2 version, 230 V / 50 Hz alarm system.

Product description

The emergency shower arm is equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only meets the specifications of ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154, but is also self-draining, largely free of calcification and maintenance, and very robust and corrosion-resistant. The limited, uniform and above all soft water jet is optimized for rinsing off chemicals on the skin.

The integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a standard-compliant spray pattern regardless of the water pressure on site. With the enclosed safety sign according to EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3, the B-SAFETY emergency shower is marked and visibility is improved. The viewing distance is 15 meters.

Mounting-Instructions:

For an installation in accordance with DIN EN 15154-1:2006 it must be ensured, that the safety shower installation is self-draining between valve and shower head.
