B-Safety BR 073 095 / V PremiumLine

Variable ceiling-mounted safety shower arm for body decontamination, featuring exposed piping and ¾" female water connection. The “V” version provides adjustable headroom (360–1610 mm) and installation height, with the lower edge of the shower head positioned at 2200 mm ±100 mm from finished floor level.

Technical Data

  • Material: Stainless steel AISI 316
  • Finish: Polished
  • Operating dynamic pressure: 1.5–3 bar
  • Nominal flow rate: 50 l/min
  • Flow variants: 75 l/min / 20 GPM and 110 l/min
  • Flow regulator: POM
  • Shower head: AISI 316, self-draining

Construction and Operation

The ceiling flange includes four mounting holes. All wetted parts, including arm and head, are AISI 316 stainless steel. Exposed piping allows for visual inspection, leak detection, and access for periodic flow testing.

Integrated automatic flow regulator maintains spray pattern within 1.5–3 bar dynamic pressure. For DIN EN 15154-1:2006 compliance, the section between valve and head must be self-draining.

Flow Rate Variants

  • BR 073 095 / V: 50 l/min, hazard class I
  • BR 073 095 / V75L: 75 l/min / 20 GPM, hazard class II
  • BR 073 095 / V110L: 110 l/min, hazard class III

Standards and Accessories

Complies with DIN EN 15154-1:2006, DIN EN 15154-5:2019, ANSI Z358.1-2014, DIN 1988, and DIN EN 1717. Certification numbers: DVGW NW-0417CL0263 (PDF), NW-0416CL0425 (product page); verify certification at procurement. Optional: IP65 flow switch, EX zone 1 & 2 version, 230 V / 50 Hz alarm module.

Applications and Use Cases

  • Industrial process areas with chemical exposure risk
  • Laboratories and chemical storage zones
  • Facilities requiring compliance with safety shower standards
  • Suitable for potable and process water

FAQ

Product description

The emergency shower arm is equipped with the B-SAFETY high-performance shower head, which not only meets the specifications of ANSI Z358.1 and EN 15154, but is also self-draining, largely free of calcification and maintenance, and very robust and corrosion-resistant. The limited, uniform and above all soft water jet is optimized for rinsing off chemicals on the skin.

The integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a standard-compliant spray pattern regardless of the water pressure on site. With the enclosed safety sign according to EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3, the B-SAFETY emergency shower is marked and visibility is improved. The viewing distance is 15 meters.

Mounting-Instructions:

For an installation in accordance with DIN EN 15154-1:2006 it must be ensured, that the safety shower installation is self-draining between valve and shower head.
