OMC R99E – Electro-Pneumatic Positioner for Rotary Actuators

The OMC R99E is an analog electro-pneumatic positioner designed for single or double acting rotary pneumatic actuators. It accepts a 4–20 mA control signal from PLC, DCS, or controller. The device compares the input signal to the actuator shaft rotation using a force-balance mechanism. Output is a modulated pneumatic pressure to the actuator.

Adjustment Functions

R99E provides independent zero/span adjustment, split-range capability, action reversal, and valve speed control. Air supply is adjustable from 1 to 34 Nm³/h depending on supply pressure, suitable for large-volume actuators or applications requiring defined open/close times.

The R99E is used when the control signal is 4–20 mA. The R99P is for pneumatic signals 3–15 psi / 0.2–1 bar.
