Genebre 2041N 3-Way Ball Valve, T-Port, NPT

The Genebre 2041N is a reduced bore, three-way ball valve with a T-port configuration. Designed for flow selection or distribution between three lines, depending on ball position. End connections are threaded NPT per ASME B1.20.1.

Construction

• Body and cap: stainless steel 1.4408 / CF8M.
• Ball: 1.4408.
• Stem: AISI 316, anti-blowout design.
• Seats: PTFE + 15% glass fibre, four-point sealing.
• Stem sealing: PTFE and O-ring FKM / Viton.
• Antistatic continuity between ball, stem, and body.
• Lockable handle mechanism.

Pressure, Temperature, and Bore

Maximum working pressure is 63 bar, with temperature range -25°C to +180°C. Pressure must be verified against the pressure–temperature curve, especially for hot service where allowable pressure decreases.

Available sizes: 1/4” to 2 1/2”. Kv values range from 11 to 205 m³/h. Reduced bore geometry should be considered in pressure drop calculations.

Automation

Top mounting pad ISO 5211 allows direct mounting of pneumatic or electric actuators. For 2040/2041 series, indicative operating torques are 8–55 Nm, measured dry after 24 hours static condition.

Applications

Suitable for process water, compressed air, neutral liquids, auxiliary circuits, skids, and feed/return selection lines. For chemical media, compatibility with CF8M, PTFE+GF, and FKM must be verified.

FAQ

Is this a control valve?
No. It is intended for on/off selection or flow distribution, not for continuous throttling.

What must be checked before maintenance?
The line must be drained and depressurized, and the valve cavity vented before any intervention.
