Genebre 2041 Three-Way Ball Valve, T-Port, Reduced Bore
The Genebre 2041 is a three-way ball valve with a T-port configuration and reduced bore. It is designed for selection, distribution, or interconnection of three process lines, depending on ball position. Not intended for proportional flow control applications.
Construction
- Body and end cap: stainless steel 1.4408 / CF8M.
- Ball: 1.4408.
- Stem: AISI 316, anti-blowout design.
- Seats: PTFE + 15% glass fibre, four seats.
- Stem sealing: PTFE and O-ring FKM / Viton.
- Antistatic device between ball, stem, and body.
- Lockable handle mechanism.
Connection, Pressure, and Temperature
Threaded ends per ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1. Maximum working pressure 63 bar. Temperature range -25°C to +180°C. NPT threads available (2040N); confirm code and thread standard before ordering.
Hydraulic Data
Available sizes: 1/4” to 2 1/2”. Kv values range from 11 m³/h (smallest) to 205 m³/h (2 1/2”). Reduced bore design must be considered in pressure drop calculations, especially for high flow or limited differential head applications.
T-Port Operation
The T-port allows multiple flow patterns with 90° rotation. For actuation, verify ball position, rotation direction, and alignment with limit switches or actuator indicators.
Automation and Maintenance
Top mounting per ISO 5211 enables direct pneumatic or electric actuator installation. Install only in clean piping; avoid weld debris or particulates that may damage seats.
Applications
Suitable for process water, compressed air, neutral liquids, auxiliary circuits, skids, and feed/return selection lines. For chemical service, verify compatibility with CF8M, PTFE+GF, and FKM materials.
Description
Certificates
GENEBRE, S.A. has implemented a quality management system to control the designing and manufacturing of fluid control valves, as well as the distribution of home and public taps.
This system complies with the requirements of the current international UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015, certified by the prestigious German certification organization TÜV Rheinland.
In 2000, GENEBRE began to comply with the European Business Excellence Model, more commonly known as the EFQM. As a result, in 2003, the Catalan Regional Government awarded us with the Quality Award. This new system enables us to ensure the quality of GENEBRE's products and also to offer added value to our clients.
In 2012, we obtained the certification for the Environmental Management System. This system is certified according to the UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2015, also by TÜV Rheinland. GENEBRE QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
