ADLER FT4 3-Way Ball Valve, Wafer Full Bore

The ADLER FT4 is a three-way, wafer-type, full bore ball valve designed for installation between flanges. Construction is 3-way wafer full bore 90°, available with T-bore or L-bore ball configurations to suit specific flow plans. Size range covers DN15–DN150, pressure classes PN10–PN40, and ANSI 150–300 versions.

Construction and Materials

  • Body/inserts: ASTM A105, ASTM A479 304/304L, or 316/316L
  • Ball: ASTM A479 304/304L, ASTM A351 CF8, ASTM A479 316/316L, or ASTM A351 CF8M
  • Stem: ASTM A479 304/304L or 316/316L, anti-blowout design
  • Seats: PTFE, optional RPTFE
  • Stem sealing: PTFE/graphite chevron rings, optional FKM O-ring

Standards and Documentation

Design in accordance with EN 12516-2, ASME B16.34, ISO 14313. Flange dimensions per EN 1092-1 or ASME B16.5. Options for PED 2014/68/EU, ATEX 2014/34/EU, fire-safe ISO 10497 / API 607, ISO 15848 Class A, antistatic design, and SIL 3 capable certification for actuated valves.

T-bore vs L-bore Selection

L-bore is used for diverting a common line to one of two branches. T-bore allows more flow combinations; flow path and position feedback must be confirmed for automation to ensure correct indication and limit switch alignment.

Automation

Top flange ISO 5211 enables mounting of pneumatic or electric actuators. Torque selection should consider valve size, differential pressure, seat material, and operating frequency.

Applications

Suitable for skids, manifolds, utility networks, process water, neutral liquids, and feed/return selection lines. For oxygen, degreasing per ISO 23208 is available. For flammable or volatile media, request appropriate ATEX/fire-safe/ISO 15848 documentation.

Available size from DN 15 to DN 150 in carbon steel, stainless steel adn special steel.

Rating PN 10 ÷ 40 / ANSI 150 .
