Valpres 762000 ANSI Class 150 Split-Body Ball Valve

The Valpres 762000 is a two-piece flanged ball valve for ANSI Class 150 / PN20 piping systems. It is intended for on/off isolation duties in industrial utility and process lines where full-bore shut-off, maintainable construction, and actuator mounting are required.

Construction

Sealing Arrangement

The standard sealing system uses PTFE seats, PTFE stem seat, PTFE thrust washer, Graphoil on the stem and body seat area, and an FKM O-ring. Media compatibility shall be checked against PTFE, FKM, Graphoil, and the selected metallic trim.

The valve is suitable for isolation service. It should not be selected for continuous throttling, as partially open ball valves can generate seat wear, noise, and unstable flow conditions.

Variants and Size-Related Differences

DN15 to DN200 sizes are generally used as manually operated or actuated floating-ball isolation valves. DN250 and DN300 are listed as trunnion versions and are supplied without a hand lever, normally for actuator operation or project-specific operating gear.

Actuator Interface

The valve includes an ISO mounting pad from F04 to F14 depending on nominal size. This allows installation of pneumatic or electric actuators for remote operation, interlocking, emergency shutdown, or automated batch and utility control.

Is this valve suitable for modulating control?
No. It is an isolation valve for open/closed service, not a control valve for continuous regulation.

Can it be automated?
Yes. ISO F04 to F14 mounting pads support pneumatic or electric actuators, depending on DN and torque requirement.

Which sizes are trunnion type?
DN250 and DN300 are identified as trunnion versions and are supplied without a hand lever.
