Valpres 713000 / 714000 / 715000 Three-Piece Ball Valve
Three-piece ball valve manufactured in ASTM A352 LCB carbon steel for DIN piping systems with threaded or welded end connections. The split-body construction allows removal of the centre section for seat and seal maintenance without cutting or removing the pipe ends from the line.

Variant Differences
| Code | Connection | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| 713000 | ISO 7 Rp threaded | Removable screwed piping, utilities, compact skids |
| 714000 | Socket Weld | Small-bore welded process and utility lines |
| 715000 | Butt Weld | Permanent welded pipework where joint integrity is required |
Applications and Media
Used for isolation duty in water systems, compressed air, fuels, auxiliary services and industrial liquids compatible with LCB, stainless steel trim, PTFE and FKM. Selection should consider operating pressure, temperature, fluid compatibility, cycling frequency and required maintenance access.
Operational Considerations
- Quarter-turn on/off service; not intended for fine throttling control.
- PTFE seats provide tight shut-off within the specified pressure and temperature envelope.
- FKM compatibility must be verified for the actual fluid, additives and cleaning agents.
- The three-piece design supports in-line maintenance of seats and body seals after depressurisation and isolation.
Standards, Certifications and Options
Available with SIL 3, TÜV and ATEX executions on request. Manual operation is typical; pneumatic or electric actuation may be specified when the valve configuration, torque requirement and mounting arrangement are verified for the duty.
FAQ
When should 713000 be selected?
Use 713000 where an ISO 7 Rp threaded connection is acceptable and future removal of adjacent pipework is practical.
When are welded ends preferred?
714000 or 715000 are used where threaded joints are not preferred due to leakage risk, vibration, permanent installation requirements or site piping standards.
What are the main selection checks?
Confirm PN rating by size, minimum and maximum temperature, end connection type, actuator torque if automated, and chemical compatibility with PTFE and FKM.
