Valpres 710060 / 710061 / 710062 Three-Piece Ball Valve
Three-piece full-bore ball valve in stainless steel ASTM A351 CF8M, intended for industrial pipework where the valve body may need to be inspected or serviced without removing the pipe ends from the line.

Connection variants
| Code | Connection type | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 710060 | ISO 7 Rp threaded | Removable threaded utility and process lines |
| 710061 | Socket Weld, SW | Small-bore welded pipework requiring compact joints |
| 710062 | Butt Weld, BW | Welded process lines where crevice control and weld integrity are specified |
Three-piece construction
The centre section can be removed for seat replacement, ball inspection or cleaning while the threaded or welded ends remain installed. This reduces line disturbance during maintenance and is relevant where weld removal is not acceptable.
Suitable media and applications
- Process water and treated water circuits
- Compressed air and inert industrial gases
- Chemical liquids compatible with CF8M stainless steel, PTFE and FKM
- Auxiliary services in production units, skids and packaged equipment
- General isolation duties where full bore and low pressure drop are required
Certifications and automation
Executions may be specified with ATEX, SIL 3 and TÜV certifications according to project requirements. Manual lever operation is typical. Pneumatic or electric actuation can be considered when the selected valve execution and mounting arrangement are suitable for automation.
Selection notes
- Check pressure rating against nominal size and maximum operating pressure.
- Confirm seat and O-ring compatibility with fluid, concentration and temperature.
- Use SW or BW ends where welded pipework is required; use ISO 7 Rp where threaded removal is part of the maintenance philosophy.
- For automated on/off service, verify torque, cycling frequency, actuator sizing and leakage class requirements.
FAQ
Can the valve be maintained in line?
Yes. The three-piece body allows removal of the centre section without cutting or unscrewing the pipe ends.
Is it suitable for steam?
Use depends on pressure, temperature and sealing materials. PTFE-based seats and FKM seals must be checked against the actual steam conditions before selection.
What is the main difference between 710060, 710061 and 710062?
The valve body concept is the same; the difference is the pipe connection: threaded ISO 7 Rp, Socket Weld or Butt Weld.
