Genebre 2034N 3-piece NPT ball valve
The Genebre 2034N is a 3-piece, full-bore ball valve with NPT threaded ends. The body material is carbon steel WCB, with AISI 316 ball and stem, PTFE + 15% glass-filled seats, 1000 WOG pressure rating, and an operating temperature range of -25°C to +180°C.

Operational considerations
The full-bore design reduces pressure loss and is suitable where line restriction must be minimized. The 3-piece construction allows access to the center body for seat and seal maintenance, provided that clearance for disassembly has been considered in the piping layout.

Actuation and operation
The valve is normally used as a manual on/off valve. For automated service, confirm the availability of a mounting arrangement, stem torque, duty cycle and actuator sizing with the manufacturer’s data sheet. Pneumatic or electric actuation should be selected against differential pressure, media condition and required fail position.
Sealing and leakage considerations
PTFE + glass-filled seats provide soft-seat shutoff for compatible clean services. Abrasive particles, crystallizing fluids or high cycling rates can affect seat life. For critical isolation, confirm allowable leakage class and maintenance interval before selection.

Is it suitable for steam? Only if the manufacturer’s pressure-temperature chart and seat material limits allow the specific steam condition.
Can it be serviced in line? The center section can be accessed in a 3-piece design, but piping clearance and safe isolation must be provided.
What must be verified before procurement? NPT thread form, pressure, temperature, fluid compatibility, leakage requirement, actuation need and maintenance access.
