Genebre 2005 M-F Ball Valve
The Genebre 2005 is a one-piece, reduced-bore ball valve with male-female threaded ends to Gas ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1. The body is polished stainless steel AISI 316 / 1.4408, with PTFE seats, pressure rating PN63, and operating temperature range from -25°C to +180°C, subject to the pressure-temperature limits of the seat material.

Operational and Selection Notes
The male-female connection allows direct installation on fittings, manifolds or instruments without an additional nipple. The reduced bore should be checked when pressure drop, flushing capacity or pigging is relevant. The one-piece construction is not intended for in-line disassembly or internal maintenance.
For isolation duty, the valve is normally used in fully open or fully closed position. It is not a control valve and should not be selected for continuous throttling, as seat wear and leakage risk may increase.

Suitable Media
Suitable media include water, air, inert gases and compatible industrial fluids. Use with steam, hydrocarbons, chemicals or aggressive fluids requires verification of pressure, temperature, corrosion allowance and PTFE compatibility.
Actuation and Sealing Options
This valve is supplied for manual lever operation. If pneumatic or electric actuation is required, a valve with an ISO 5211 mounting pad should normally be selected. The standard sealing arrangement is PTFE; alternative seat materials are not part of the basic Genebre 2005 configuration and should be confirmed before procurement.
Difference from Other Connection Variants
- M-F: compact installation between a female port and a male threaded component.
- F-F: preferred where both pipe ends are male threaded.
- M-M: used where the valve must connect directly into female threaded ports.

Can it be maintained internally?
The one-piece body is not designed for seat replacement or internal service dismantling.
Is it suitable for throttling?
No. It should be used mainly for isolation or occasional operation.
What must be checked before selection?
Media compatibility, pressure-temperature rating, thread type, allowable leakage, reduced-bore pressure drop and installation access for lever operation.
