Genebre 2006 F-F stainless steel ball valve

The Genebre 2006 is a one-piece reduced-bore ball valve with female threaded ends F-F Gas ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1. The body is polished AISI 316 stainless steel, with PTFE seats, pressure rating PN63, and operating temperature range -25°C to +180°C, subject to pressure-temperature derating and media compatibility.

Dimensions and operation

The valve is available from 1/4" to 1" and is manually operated by lever. The reduced port generates higher pressure drop than a full-bore ball valve and should be checked where flow capacity, Cv/Kv value, flushing velocity, or line pigging is relevant.

For steam, vacuum, aggressive chemicals, abrasive fluids, or high cycling duty, the actual pressure-temperature envelope and seat suitability should be verified.

Selection notes

The one-piece construction reduces body joints but is not selected for routine disassembly or seat replacement. For maintainable assemblies, a two-piece or three-piece ball valve is usually preferred. For minimum pressure loss or cleaning flow, a full-bore variant should be evaluated instead of a reduced-bore valve.

Actuation and sealing options

The Genebre 2006 is typically supplied with manual lever operation. If pneumatic or electric actuation is required, confirm availability of an actuator-ready valve with mounting interface, torque data, and stem design suitable for automation. Standard sealing is PTFE; alternative soft-seat materials should only be specified where the manufacturer confirms compatibility with temperature, pressure, and media.
