A simple construction of double sensors and pucks in a uniform size is now possible. With our new WDF in combination with the MB series, you can easily equip the drives and fittings in different sizes with one and the same double sensor or puck, as the unit has an interface on the top in accordance with VDI/VDE 3845, a drilling pattern of 80x30 mm and a shaft height of 20 mm. This saves time during assembly and also brings a price advantage, as different components are no longer required from the sensor manufacturers.

Eurotec VDI/VDE Brackets – MB-WDF
Eurotec MB-WDF brackets are used for mounting double sensors or pucks on pneumatic quarter-turn valve actuators. The assembly combines the MB series with the WDF element, allowing the same sensor or puck to be installed across different actuator sizes. This supports standardization and simplifies inventory for maintenance and retrofit projects.

Functional Role
Brackets do not contact process media. Their function is mechanical: ensuring correct spacing, alignment, and secure connection between actuator and position sensor. This is critical for reliable position feedback in process control loops.
The MB-WDF solution reduces the need for actuator-size-specific accessories. This is relevant for maintenance, retrofit, and stock standardization of valve assemblies with limit switch boxes, double sensors, or pucks.
Applications
Used on automated ball valves, butterfly valves, and plug valves with pneumatic rack & pinion or scotch yoke actuators. Position signals are typically interfaced with PLCs, DCS, or local panels for open/close indication. Suitable for water, steam, air, inert gases, and compatible process fluids.
